The Swiss Pharmacists Association pharmaSuisse is concerned about the ongoing supply shortages in the medicinal sector. These have persisted at a high level for several years and increasingly jeopardise patient safety.

Pharmacists are on the front line, ensuring supply with considerable additional effort and compensating for systemic gaps. Against this background, pharmaSuisse assesses the current political measures and highlights the areas where, based on practical experience, further measures are still necessary.
