Deputy Chief Physician Orthopaedics and Traumatology – Focus on Foot and Ankle Surgery

The Clinic for Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Hand Surgery today forms a broadly based musculoskeletal centre at Limmattal Hospital. It combines almost the entire spectrum of orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system with a special focus on modern endoprosthetics of the knee, hip and shoulder joints including revision prosthetics, sports orthopaedics, shoulder surgery as well as foot and ankle surgery. The range of services also includes conservative and operative treatment of injuries to the support and musculoskeletal system, in particular arthroscopic procedures of the large joints as well as the treatment of complex fractures.
Our clinic includes an established hand surgery department with a broad conservative and operative spectrum, especially in the area of elective and traumatic interventions on the hand, wrist and peripheral nerves.
The professional work is organised in clear specialised teams, including for shoulder surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery, sports orthopaedics, traumatology as well as knee and hip endoprosthetics. This way, we combine a broad clinical spectrum with targeted specialisation and collegial cooperation.
