Position: Senior Associate – Fintech & Digital Finance

Role objective:
✓ Acquisition of mandates in the legal field
✓ Comprehensive legal advice to national and international clients on all aspects of fintech law, in particular:
- Development and operation of fintech products and services
- Regulation of the fintech sector
- Payment services law
- Crowdfunding and crowdinvesting
- Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies
- Data protection and data security
✓ Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents in the fintech sector, including partnership agreements, licence agreements and financing contracts
✓ Supporting clients in complying with national and international laws and regulations including supervisory law of the CSSF, MSFSA, FMA, CIMA, BaFin, AML/KYC regulations and other regulations
✓ Coordinating and leading legal aspects of fintech projects, including due diligence reviews and structuring innovative business models
✓ Negotiating with client stakeholders, authorities and other service providers
✓ Representing clients before courts and arbitration tribunals
✓ Contributing to the development of new products and services
✓ Active participation in an international team
✓ Participation in industry events and conferences
✓ Active use of AI

Professional experience:
✓ 5 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm, auditing company or a company in the fintech or financial services sector
