Job Description
Within the Customer Service department, we are looking for a CS Diagnostic Watchmaker to strengthen an expert team and support its transformation.
This position is aimed at an experienced watchmaker, capable of combining technical excellence, quality diagnostics and openness to the customer experience.
Reporting to the Customer Service Admin Manager, you will work within a team of estimators and collaborate closely with the technical and Customer Service teams.
In a context of reorganisation and increased workload, this recruitment aims to strengthen watchmaking expertise and overall performance (quality, deadlines, costs).
The objective is to combine technical excellence, quality diagnostics and contribution to the customer experience, while injecting new dynamism into a historically very experienced team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyse received watches and carry out complete technical diagnostics
- Establish, confirm and adjust diagnostics for estimates according to operational and component needs
- Ensure reliable, consistent diagnostics aligned with AP standards
- Communicate diagnostics clearly and contribute to the customer experience during visits to the manufacture
- Be proactive in continuous improvement projects (processes, data, Lean, 5S, component management)
- Use IT tools effectively to search for components, plans and technical data
Qualifications
- Watchmaking training (CFC or equivalent)
- Proven experience (>5 years) in watchmaking (Customer Service, production or diagnostics)
- Excellent mastery of quartz, automatic and manual movements
- Mastery of complications (at least annual calendar, power reserve, flyback chronograph)
- Ability to act as a watchmaker in addition to the estimator role
- Strong proficiency with IT tools and multi-system environments
- Excellent analytical skills, rigour and clarity in communication
- Energy, openness, constructive critical thinking and willingness to evolve practices
