Logistics Specialist / Export Packer (m/f/d)

For our renowned business partner, an internationally active specialist in high-tech and plant engineering in the Wohlen (AG) region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced Logistics Specialist / Export Packer for a Try & Hire (with option for permanent employment).

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Safe loading and unloading of trucks and sea freight containers using industrial trucks/forklifts in the forwarding agency
• Receipt of goods deliveries including incoming goods inspection and posting in the ERP system
• Organisation of special transports: measuring large systems, ordering customised wooden packaging as well as creating packing and loading lists
• Proper preparation and provision of materials for production orders
• Preparing, preserving and sea-proof packaging of shipments for worldwide shipping
• Active support during inventory as part of rolling stock control

Must-Haves

• Completed training as a logistics specialist
• Proven practical knowledge in export packaging, sea-proof load securing and warehouse logistics
• Valid SUVA-recognised forklift licence with solid driving experience
• Extensive experience in overhead crane operation and moving heavy loads (up to 8 tonnes)
• Experience in proper container and truck loading
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
• Reliable, structured working method and strong team spirit

Nice-to-Haves

• Confident handling of warehouse systems (preferably SAP)
• Training or certificates in the field of hazardous goods (ADR/IATA/IMDG)
• Good English skills for international shipping documents
