- The SSCM's mission is to implement the cantonal policy regarding population protection. It notably assumes the military administrative and logistical tasks delegated to the canton by the Confederation. Through the military district, the service ensures the liaison between persons subject to compulsory service and the army. It is also responsible for managing the canton’s military infrastructure and facilities.
Join us and take on a key role in leading and coordinating the activities of the crafts workshop at the Colombier site.
You coordinate various renovation projects of the property portfolio, assess the work requirements, and manage the workshop staff.
You review quotes related to commissioned work, participate in carrying out renovation work, and handle the administrative tasks linked to the workshop’s activities.
You also contribute to the training of apprentice joiners and support the service’s various activities according to the needs and directives of your superiors.
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a joiner or an equivalent qualification, you have at least five years of professional experience in joinery or a building trade.
Your background has enabled you to acquire solid knowledge in building maintenance and renovation. Comfortable managing construction sites, you also have experience in supervising and managing teams.
Meticulous, autonomous, and organised, you take responsibility efficiently.
You hold a driving licence and have very good physical condition, necessary for the daily exercise of the role. Current or past military service is an asset.
The role requires passing the Confederation’s security checks for personnel (CSP) and presenting a clean criminal record.
In accordance with the legal requirements applicable to public office holders, you must be domiciled in Switzerland.
