Automation Technician for Exciting Permanent Position
Activities
- Analysis and troubleshooting of automated systems as well as ensuring safe and efficient operation
- of the equipment.
- Performing measurements on high and low voltage systems as well as on automated control systems
- Planning and implementation of smaller projects in the field of electrical engineering and automation
- Reading and creating circuit diagrams and electrical schematics to optimize and support troubleshooting
- Performing electrical installations as well as maintenance work on automated and electromechanical systems
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming to analyze and optimize electrical systems
- Support in the maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
- Collaboration with external partners and service providers in the implementation of technical solutions
- Participation in material management and ordering of operating resources as needed
Requirements
- Completed training as an automation technician or comparable qualification
- Experience with automated systems, ideally in an industrial environment
- Technical understanding and interest in optimizing automation and control technology
- Confident handling of MS Office and other common software tools
- English skills required, French skills an advantage
- Teamwork skills, high initiative, and the ability to work in a structured manner even under time pressure
- Willingness to provide on-call service and confident handling of stressful situations
