As a subsidiary of the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company (SGV), Tavolago AG operates the gastronomy on all 5 steam and 14 motor ships of the SGV and also pampers our customers on land in several establishments as well as at caterings and large events with up to 5000 guests culinarily. Our land establishments include the LUZ Seebistro, the Wirtshaus Taube, the CHÄRNSMATT – Inn & Play Paradise and the Ampersand Grill Restaurant. In addition, we are the gastronomy partner of the Pilatus Arena and the Lucerne Fair.

We are looking for an HR Specialist Administration & Payroll (a) by arrangement
Here is what you will do
Are you ready to become part of a dynamic team that lives HR with passion? We are looking for a committed HR assistant who is eager to actively help shape the HR world with us.
Together with your HR buddy, you will take responsibility for a versatile and exciting administrative HR area and be in the thick of things rather than just on the sidelines.
- Personnel administration: You are responsible for the entire personnel administration from entry to exit and ensure a professional and efficient handling of all HR processes
- Seasonal recruiting & onboarding: You coordinate and accompany the entire recruitment process and support new employees from the first contact to their successful start with us
- Payroll: You actively participate in the monthly payroll processing and manage the administrative processes related to social insurance, family allowances and withholding tax
- Support: You competently support and advise employees and managers in all administrative and labour law HR matters
- Projects & processes: You contribute your expertise to HR projects, further develop existing processes and support the continuous optimisation of our HR department
- Deputy HR management: You act as deputy to the HR management and support them in operational HR matters
What we expect from you
- Education: You have further training in the HR field, ideally the HR specialist certificate or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience: You bring at least 2 years of professional experience in a comparable HR function and have already independently managed a variety of HR tasks
- Gastronomy know-how: You feel at home in the gastronomy sector, know the L-GAV and ideally have experience in a seasonal operation
- Expertise: You have sound knowledge of payroll and social insurance as well as Swiss labour law
- Systems: You work confidently with MS Office. Knowledge of HR and ERP systems such as SwissSalary or Refline is desirable
- Personality: You work independently, reliably and keep an overview even in hectic times. With your open and service-oriented manner, you are a valued contact person for employees and managers
- Passion: You bring enthusiasm for HR, think along, get involved and want to develop professionally and personally
