Technician Electrical Engineering and Automation (80 - 100 %)
Your Tasks
- You keep the operational and safety equipment of the cantonal roads running – at all times
- You plan and manage maintenance and repair measures – efficiently and proactively
- You independently carry out inspections, controls, repairs, and technical analyses – supported by external specialists
- You actively participate in projects – your practical experience is in demand
- You ensure rapid and competent fault rectification as part of the on-call service – including at night and on weekends
Your Profile
- You have a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) in the electrical or automation field with at least 5 years of professional experience
- You are interested and eager to learn; we welcome your practical, technical further training
- You are mobile (driving licence category B)
- You are familiar with maintenance, operation, or installation of systems
- You work in a structured, responsible, and solution-oriented manner

Your Work Environment
The Civil Engineering Office plans, builds, and maintains the cantonal road network in the canton of Zug. Other tasks include hydraulic engineering as well as partial functions in the areas of traffic engineering and building control.
The road maintenance department is responsible for the following tasks:
- Operation and project-free maintenance of cantonal roads
- Construction, maintenance, and operation of operational and safety equipment
- Excavations / concessions of utility lines in public areas
