About the job
The hosts Jörg Gehri & Judith Scherrer run the inns at the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum. During the summer months from April to October, 200,000 guests visit the museum. With fresh Swiss cuisine and warm hospitality, we want to cater to the visitors in the inns.Is it your strength to thoroughly pamper our guests? Then you will find the right challenge with us.
Job profile
• Managing your own station including cash handling
• Co-responsibility for the smooth operation of the service
• Mise en place for the à la carte business and events
• Advising, serving, and pampering our guests
Qualifications
• Professional training in service is an advantage
• Experience in gastronomy
• Enjoy working in a collegial team
• Willingness to work on weekends
• Very good knowledge of German (additional language skills are an advantage)
• Enthusiasm and resilience
What we offer you
• Regular and varied work in a collegial team
• Daytime operation hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (without room hour)
• Above-average performance pay
• Employment on an hourly wage basis or a 40% / 60% / 80% / 100% position
• Employment relationship from April to October
• Short-term employment for: 1 / 2 / 3 months
