Volunteering is a significant social contribution. Volunteers play an important role in the social sector by caring for and supporting sick and elderly people and contribute with their commitment to their integration and quality of life. Volunteering is becoming increasingly important. Volunteers have been warmly welcomed at Haus im Park for many years.

This work benefits the residents. Volunteering complements and supports paid work. Volunteers enrich life at Haus im Park.

At Haus im Park, we can offer volunteers various areas of activity:

• Care of the cafeteria, service
• Visiting residents
• Accompanying to internal appointments such as hairdressers, foot care, church services
• Assistance with everyday activities, e.g. events, games, accompanying on excursions, crafts, singing, dancing, reading aloud
• Interpreting for foreign-language residents
• Walks, reading aloud, visits, small errands, meal service
• Palliative care - end-of-life support

Volunteering is versatile and enriching for everyone:

We offer you:

• Introduction to the activity
• Support by a contact person
• Location discussions during the year
• Further training, participation in internal training as far as volunteering is concerned

• On request, we certify the time spent, skills, and competencies. The "Volunteering Dossier" is maintained by each individual themselves
