The Tasks

You will start at least three months before the studies as a nursing professional in the intensive care unit. As an expert in intensive care, you accompany people in exceptional life situations. Your working day includes rapidly changing situations, combined with exciting interventions. Your area of responsibility lies in care, monitoring as well as diagnostics and therapy. Your patients mainly come from our specialist areas of

Internal Medicine
Traumatology
Visceral Surgery
Neurosurgery
Vascular Surgery
Orthopaedics
Urology
Gynaecology

Very individual support through a personal vocational education person
Close support from the medical staff
6 - 8 weeks external internship at the intensive care unit of Spital Triemli

What You Need to Bring

Completed training as a Dipl. Nurse HF or equivalent diploma
or Bachelor in Nursing from a university or university of applied sciences
or a diploma in nursing recognised as equivalent by the SBFI (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation)
for foreign-language students: proven language level C1 and business fluent command of the German language in spoken and written form
Good PC user skills
Reliable, resilient, motivated and thoughtful personality, characterised by team spirit
Willingness to work shifts
