A Cook
To complete our teams for the 2026/2027 winter season, Thyon is looking for its "Catering" department:
Your tasks:
- Ensure the production of dishes (preparations, mise en place, plating, cooking and sending) in strict compliance with the provided recipes;
- Apply HACCP, FIFO, forward flow, hygiene and food safety rules;
- Contribute to the supply, FIFO storage and logistics of the restaurant;
- Participate in washing kitchen equipment and other dishwashing tasks;
- Ensure waste disposal respecting selective sorting and operational processes;
- Perform snow clearance of the restaurant terrace;
- Participate in monthly inventories of products and kitchen equipment;
- Attend pre- and post-service briefings;
- Contribute to the development of dishes within your scope.
Your profile:
- Holder of a Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) or an AFP in Cooking (or equivalent significant training in the field);
- Excellent presentation, exemplary behaviour and punctuality;
- Team spirit, good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Dynamism, versatility, availability and respect for hierarchy;
- Good knowledge of HACCP and FIFO rules;
- Ability to work in demanding conditions, including at altitude;
- Stress resistance and ability to work in a demanding environment;
- Previous experience in a high-volume or similar establishment.
Start date: Winter season 2026/2027
