- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the maintenance team with three employees
- Ensuring high machine and plant availability as well as establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance plans
- Further development of the maintenance strategy and definition of maintenance standards
- Establishment, maintenance and monitoring of occupational safety
- Planning and further development of the safety concept
- Conducting hazard identification, risk assessments and accident analyses as well as deriving, defining and implementing appropriate measures
- Ensuring and conducting training and instructions on occupational safety
- Responsibility and support of the internal fire protection and emergency organisation
- Review and co-design of workplaces, work equipment and personal protective equipment
- Advising management, supervisors and employees on all matters of occupational safety and health protection
- Planning and accompanying external audits as well as conducting safety inspections
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or comparable training in an industrial environment as well as several years of experience as a maintenance manager and safety officer
- Further training in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) is required; the federal specialist certificate as ASGS specialist is a plus
- Further advanced training in maintenance is desirable
- Very good technical understanding and pronounced understanding of production processes
- Knowledge of EKAS guidelines, VKF regulations, labour law
- Independent working style, high sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Confident appearance and assured communication at all levels
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, English skills and other languages are an advantage
- Affinity for digital processes as well as very good PC skills
