The canton of Zurich has decided to pay a solidarity contribution to victims of care-related coercive measures and outplacements before 1981, when authorities in the canton of Zurich were involved in case processing. The State Archive of the Canton of Zurich (www.staatsarchiv.zh.ch) is responsible for receiving and processing corresponding applications from affected persons.
For the processing of such applications, we are looking for a
Scientific Employee 60% as of June 1, 2026 or by arrangement
Your tasks
- You review applications for a solidarity contribution (formal and content review, clarification of questions with affected persons and other authorities or offices)
- You are responsible for further administrative tasks within the scope of application processing
Your profile
- Completed university degree, preferably in history or a related field
- Social and communication skills (professional handling of people with difficult fates)
- Precise and efficient way of working
- Ability to work in a team, independence, and personal responsibility
- Written and oral communication skills
