About the job

- At our simulation facilities, you conduct realistic training scenarios together with the trainees that are not possible at signal boxes
- You are responsible for planning, preparing and conducting practical training for our trainees and career changers
- For this purpose, you create training materials and lesson preparations, and you also accompany and coach during the exam preparation phases
- Conveying operational confidence in the interface area between operations and technology in cooperation with the training coordinators as well as regular learning trips for our trainees are part of your tasks
- You work closely with junior staff coordinators, training coordinators, DB Training and the vocational school
- You are a trained railway worker in track operations or a functionally trained train traffic controller and have professional experience as a train traffic controller ESTW or route control signal box on at least two signal boxes (you are willing to acquire the necessary additional qualifications)
- At least one of the two signal boxes must be a signal box with tasks involving complex infrastructure
- As part of the application process, you successfully complete the competence-based selection procedure (according to guideline 046.2578; consisting of a structured interview and the successful completion of a case study)
- High professional competence as well as excellent knowledge in the application of relevant regulations, operational processes and train control systems are part of your portfolio
- You are characterised by teamwork, conflict resolution skills, excellent communication skills, confident and reliable demeanour as well as resilience, a high level of commitment, independence and initiative
- You also bring secure PC skills as well as curiosity about modern presentation media (e.g. smartboards, VR glasses) and you are willing to work maintenance shifts as part of the activity as a train traffic controller
