Job description
Presentation:
The Béthel Home Foundation is a living place hosting 65 residents over 65 years old whose physical or mental health requires support 7 days a week and 24 hours a day until the end of their life.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Accompany and support residents in all daily life activities and during collective events.
- Prepare and organise suitable and rewarding activities for residents in collaboration with various departments.
- Promote residents’ autonomy and maintenance of their personal activities (habits, hobbies, etc.).
- Coordinate and organise socio-cultural activities.
- Accompany residents for meals, outings and appointments.
- Involve families in events as far as possible.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the resident’s file.
- Perform assistance, basic care and housekeeping tasks, all related to maintaining the social life of residents.
- Work with respect for the resident, aiming at their well-being.
- Participate in the development of procedures and organisation to improve services and resident satisfaction.
Profile sought
- ASE Federal Certificate of Competence or equivalent training
- 5 years’ experience in EMS – mandatory
- Knowledge of palliative care – mandatory
- Sense of responsibility
- High autonomy
- Communication skills
- Adaptability
- Cooperation and strong team spirit
- Interest in interdisciplinary work
- Knowledge of DIR (Sadies) IT tool – mandatory
- Fluency in French
