ServiceNow Engineer - Platform & Automation (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take on the further development and optimisation of a central platform on which business-critical processes are mapped efficiently and reliably. You are responsible for the design, implementation and integration of new functions that continuously increase the platform's benefit for various stakeholders. You analyse requirements, translate them into technical solutions and ensure a clean, scalable implementation. You also work closely with interface partners to ensure stable integrations, high performance and a smooth user experience. Through your experience, you drive best practices in platform development and make an important contribution to the long-term further development of the entire system landscape.
Responsibilities:
You develop and administer our ServiceNow landscape and ensure a modern, reliable platform.
You translate business needs into technical concepts and realise efficient digital workflows from them.
You programme integrations, automations and individual extensions with JavaScript as well as REST interfaces.
You accompany releases and technical changes from planning through testing to productive deployment.
You analyse disruptions, optimise existing solutions and ensure sustainable operation through monitoring and clean documentation.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree or comparable higher education in computer science or business informatics.
You have practical experience with ServiceNow, for example in development, administration, configuration or platform operation.
You master JavaScript and are familiar with modern integration mechanisms such as REST, SOAP or webhooks.
You understand ITSM processes and ideally have experience with ITIL as well as agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
You work analytically, proactively and solution-oriented and communicate confidently in German and English.
