Eben-Hézer Lausanne has been welcoming and supporting people with intellectual disabilities for 125 years. It promotes a positive view of people with disabilities and applies its expertise to support their participation and inclusion in society. Eben-Hézer Lausanne is part of the Eben-Hézer Foundation, a private law organisation, non-profit and recognised as being of public interest.
To complete the educational team of the Do Sector, 3 living areas for ageing residents with disabilities and associated disorders or autism spectrum disorders, we are looking for a Social Educator, ASE, ASSC or Nurse (M/F) at an 80% activity rate.
Mission
You actively contribute to the well-being of the residents and ensure the greatest possible autonomy for them. You guarantee educational support as well as daily care. You aim to increase or maintain their skills and support them through losses. You assist them in their social integration. This mission is carried out within a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with the social network.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement individual and collective socio-educational support
Support residents in daily life activities and accompany them through bereavements
Perform delegated care and medico-technical acts in accordance with your level of competence
Develop educational strategies adapted to the needs of the residents
Participate in the selection, implementation and facilitation of leisure and recreational activities
Provide palliative care support if needed
Actively collaborate with internal and external networks
Work interdisciplinarily to address complex and heterogeneous issues
Carry out administrative tasks related to the team and residents
Desired Profile
- Diploma in social education at ASE, ASSC, ES or HES level, or HES nursing diploma
Several years of experience supporting people with disabilities or ageing individuals
Ease in teamwork and communication, task organisation; reliability
Good knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office programmes
Driving licence preferred

Permanent contract.
Irregular hours, weekend work on a rota basis, participation in camps.
