La Fondation Eben-Hézer accompagne des personnes vivant avec un handicap ou en perte d’autonomie.
Créée en 1899 par Sœur Julie Hofmann, la Fondation regroupe aujourd’hui plusieurs établissements :
- Eben-Hézer Lausanne et la Cité du Genévrier (Saint-Légier) accueillent plus de 500 jeunes adultes et adultes en situation de handicap.
- Les établissements médico-sociaux du Pôle Grand-Âge (Home Salem) et périmètre (Beau-Site) hébergent plus de 300 personnes âgées, pour de longs et courts séjours, ainsi qu’en accueil temporaire.
La Fondation emploie près de 1300 collaborateurs.
Grâce au soutien de ses donateurs et aux subventions publiques, les différentes institutions de la Fondation Eben-Hézer poursuivent la même mission : offrir à leurs résidents des soins appropriés, un cadre de vie agréable et développer leur potentiel.

There's no point in going to work
What could be improved?
I didn't like working there. Honestly, it wasn't a good experience at all. The managers are really unpleasant, and the atmosphere is bad. You can feel the tension all the time, and it doesn't make you want to come to work. There’s a nursing assistant on the team who acts like she’s the boss, and on top of that, she trains the apprentices. She speaks in a bossy way, and in the end, everyone just does what she wants. As a result, everyone does pretty much whatever they want, and the organization isn’t good. The nurses are nice, but they don’t stick around, and honestly, I understand why. The only people I’ve found to be really great are the residents—they’re adorable, and it’s a shame for them because they deserve better. I don’t recommend this place as a place to work.
