In this role, you will take over the leadership and further development of a clinic of General Internal Medicine in a very well-positioned regional hospital with close ties to a central hospital. You will shape an exciting leadership role at a dynamic location within a university hospital group with a clear future strategy. You will work closely and interdisciplinarily with other specialist disciplines both at your own location and group-wide. Responsibilities:
You bear the medical, organisational and economic overall responsibility for the clinic of general internal medicine at the Sursee location
In this role, you develop the clinic strategically and conceptually along the medical strategy
You ensure the highest quality standards in diagnostics and therapy
As Chief Physician / Head Physician General Internal Medicine, you lead the medical team professionally and personally and are responsible for the medical further training and education of assistant physicians in training category B
You are responsible for the budget, resource management and economic development of the clinic
In this role, you represent the clinic inside and outside the hospital and maintain and strengthen regional and national networks with general practitioners and referrers
Qualifications:
- You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine; an additional qualification such as EMBA, sonography tutor or Master of Medical Education is an advantage.
- You have a very broad and proven internal medicine expertise.
- Ideally, you bring several years of leadership experience as a senior physician.
- You possess strong leadership, social and communication skills and appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You have sound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system.
- You think strategically and innovatively, are interested in continuous clinical and organisational development as well as in business management contexts and digitalisation.
