Construction Manager (m/f/d) Shell Construction, Fit-Out and Architecture - Data Center

To strengthen our growing Data Center Team, we are looking for an experienced individual as Construction Manager Shell Construction, Fit-Out and Architecture (CSA).Your contractual workplace is our headquarters "Connect" in Opfikon. However, you will mainly be working on one of our Data Center construction projects in the Zurich region.

Tasks

What tasks await you as Construction Manager (m/f/d) Shell Construction, Fit-Out and Architecture - Data Center?

• You lead and coordinate all CSA works (Civil, Structural & Architectural) on a large data centre project and ensure successful implementation regarding occupational safety, quality, costs and deadlines
• You lead and coordinate subcontractors, foremen and site teams and are responsible for short- and medium-term construction scheduling using 2-, 4- and 8-week forecasts as well as daily site coordination
• You manage the central interfaces between the CSA and MEP trades and ensure that work areas, rooms and systems are handed over to the installation and commissioning teams on time
• You monitor construction progress, productivity and resource utilisation, identify risks and bottlenecks early and initiate appropriate measures to ensure project milestones
• You ensure compliance with all project specifications, Swiss standards and regulations, SIA standards, fire protection requirements, HSE guidelines and quality management processes

Requirements

What requirements do you bring as Construction Manager (m/f/d) Shell Construction, Fit-Out and Architecture - Data Center?

• Several years of experience in construction with comprehensive responsibility in site management as well as proven success in the realisation of CSA trades from execution through commissioning to handover
• Solid experience in hyperscale data centre, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex construction projects as well as a strong understanding of the interfaces between CSA and MEP trades
• Proven competence in managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously as well as in short- and medium-term construction scheduling, deadline control, productivity monitoring and managing dependencies and bottlenecks
• Sound technical understanding of execution plans, BIM models, technical specifications and schedules as well as experience in quality control, defect management and structured project handovers
• Completed studies or comparable training in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or a related field. Knowledge of Swiss building standards (SIA/VKF), experience on large projects and knowledge of Primavera P6 are advantageous
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
