SAP Basis System Support Lead (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 140,000Our ROCKEN partner is a technologically world-leading manufacturer of precision machine tools for milling, turning, drilling and grinding workpieces made of metal, composites and ceramics. Customers include leading companies in the aerospace and turbines, industrial and transportation, as well as luxury goods and med tech sectors.
Role:
In this role, you take on the responsibility as lead for SAP Basis system support and actively shape a modern, high-performance SAP S/4HANA platform in RISE. You are responsible for the authorisation concept as well as ensuring compliance and governance across all relevant SAP systems. You advise business units and IT stakeholders on SAP authorisations, security policies and processes. Furthermore, you drive the continuous development of the platform and the optimisation of existing structures and standards. Due to your seniority, you shape best practices, make well-founded architectural decisions and act as the central contact person for SAP Basis topics.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the operation, availability and performance of the SAP system landscape (ECC/S4HANA in SAP RISE).
- In this role, you plan and execute system upgrades, patches, support packages and technical migrations.
- As SAP Basis System Support Lead, you take on the technical leadership of Basis topics and coordinate external partners.
- You ensure compliance and the observance of segregation of duties (SoD) within the SAP systems.
- In this role, you design, implement and further develop the SAP authorisation concept, including the management of roles and profiles in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.
- You provide technical support for SAP BTP and Cloud ALM and deliver third-level support including root cause analyses for complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in business informatics, computer science or an equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of practical experience in SAP authorisations and/or in the SAP Basis or platform environment
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4, Fiori as well as the design and implementation of authorisation concepts
- Experience with the operating model "RISE with SAP"
- Strong analytical thinking combined with convincing communication and consulting skills
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
