Your tasks

• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the well-being and safety of our hospitalised patients
• Thanks to your professional attitude and critical thinking, you can contribute to the optimisation of structures and processes
• You actively engage in the interprofessional team thanks to your valuable experience and perspective
• You take on the role of reference person in care. Patients are at the centre of care and actively participate
• You independently manage complex admission and care situations
• You actively organise the daily structure and leisure activities within the framework of the various offers of the psychiatric crisis intervention service
• You participate in the development of the unit concept and therapeutic offers within the interdisciplinary team

Your profile

• You are a qualified nurse ES/HES (or hold a diploma recognised in Switzerland)
• You have experience in psychiatry or somatics and are interested in psychiatry
• You have good social skills, a neat appearance and good manners
• You have team spirit, are flexible and service-oriented
• You have good knowledge of French and German, at least at level B2

The University Psychiatric Centre of Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the main centre of expertise in psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region. It provides psychiatric care in the canton of Bern throughout the care chain, from early detection to outpatient treatments, through day hospital care and inpatient treatments, to rehabilitation and forensic psychiatry. With more than 30 sites, the UPZ offers a care network covering the entire territory. Furthermore, the UPZ makes an important contribution in the fields of teaching, training and research.
