For our client, an internationally active industrial company with a Swiss location, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a technically skilled individual in cable production.

Plant Operator (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Manufacture of specialist reels and outer conductors on specialist and braiding machines
• Independent setup, operation and monitoring of production equipment
• Carrying out reel and material changes
• Detecting and rectifying equipment malfunctions as well as performing minor maintenance and servicing tasks
• Monitoring ongoing production processes and complete documentation of relevant production data
• Identifying deviations and initiating appropriate corrective measures
• Assisting with the recording of production data and continuous process improvement
• Performing the prescribed autonomous maintenance tasks according to internal guidelines
• Using the MES control system for order processing and production data collection
• Ensuring consistently high process and product quality

Your Profile

• Completed training as a plant operator with a Federal VET Diploma or a basic mechanical training, for example as a production mechanic or polymechanic
• Several years of professional experience in plant operation and length production; knowledge from cable production or comparable mechanical production areas is an advantage
• Very good technical understanding and strong quality awareness
• Precise, structured and reliable working method
• High flexibility and willingness to be deployed in different production processes
• Quick comprehension and independent working style
• Team-oriented, resilient and reliable personality
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
• Good PC user skills and experience with ERP systems
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system
