Responsibilities:
Exciting tasks await you – in this role you will manage the operational technology (OT) at our Breitenbach site and be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving around our OT systems and networks. In addition, you will train personnel on the systems and procedures. We look forward to your expertise in the following areas:
- Technical optimization, retrofit, and further development of existing systems within the team and/or with third-party companies to ensure applicable industry standards
 - Support and maintenance of controls for production and infrastructure facilities including operational technology (OT) systems and networks
 - Analysis and resolution of faults in control and automation systems in close cooperation with production, IT, and external partners
 - Participation in the development and implementation of digitization and automation projects (e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT applications)
 - Conducting risk analyses and implementing measures to increase plant availability and operational safety
 - Contributing to the implementation and further development of cybersecurity measures in the OT environment
 - Documentation of controls, OT architecture, system configurations, and procedures
 - Training and supporting users and maintenance personnel in handling new or changed control systems
 - Creation and maintenance of technical documents, operating instructions, and training materials
 - Support in the selection and introduction of new technologies and components in the field of control technology
 
Requirements:
You convince us with this profile – in addition to a completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, you have excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge in the development and management of OT systems in an industrial environment. Experience with continuous improvement or manufacturing in an industrial environment is a plus. Furthermore:
- Degree (FH/HF or similar) in electrical engineering, control technology, computer science, or a related field
 - Professional experience in an industrial production company is an advantage
 - Familiarity with ICS, SCADA, PLC, and networked control systems
 - Knowledge of EPLAN and SIEMENS SIMATIC is an advantage
 - Understanding of IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity fundamentals
 - High technical understanding & analytical thinking skills
 - Office skills
 - Strong communication skills in German and English
