About the job
Your area of responsibility includes:
- Ensuring needs- and situation-appropriate, holistic care and support of residents according to existing care plans within the scope of professional competencies and taking into account cultural and religious customs.
- Recognising emergency situations, applying first aid, and acting according to company guidelines.
- Carrying out preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic measures according to medical prescriptions under the supervision of a registered nurse HF/FH in a professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of assigned medical-technical procedures according to company standards and under the supervision of a registered nurse HF/FH.
- Providing competent and empathetic support in nursing and organisational tasks related to deaths.
- Contributing to the training of apprentices:
- Conducting training discussions, documenting the training status, knowing the current training regulations, and ensuring their monitoring and compliance.
- Conveying theoretical and practical fundamentals, creating appropriate learning situations, and supporting young people in practical work with a focus on preparation for the qualification procedure and later working life.
You are a good fit for us if you:
- Have completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ (FaGe).
- Have professional experience in long-term care in Switzerland and ideally already have experience in vocational training.
- Have completed the vocational trainer course or are willing to attend it.
- Possess high social skills, flexibility, teamwork ability, and a healthy sense of humour.
- Value innovation, creativity, and professionalism in your professional daily life.
- Feel enthusiasm and commitment for working with elderly people.
- Have good IT skills and very good oral and written German skills.
- Still have room in your backpack for new experiences.
