About the job
In this position, you report to the Head of PM/SDM and act as the central interface between our customers, the technical teams, and other project stakeholders in the implementation of cloud migration projects.
Your tasks
In this position, you report to the Head of PM/SDM and take on a central role in the successful implementation of our cloud migration projects. You are the key interface between our customers, the technical teams, and other project stakeholders.
- You take end-to-end responsibility for several parallel cloud projects and ensure their successful implementation – on time, on quality, on scope, and on budget
- You are the central contact person for your customers during the build and run phases, manage their expectations, and support them through the implementation of their cloud projects
- You lead project teams from different units, coordinate external partners and subcontractors, and ensure successful collaboration among all parties involved
- You keep an overview even with several simultaneous projects, set priorities, and manage risks and escalations
- You collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams in preparing proposals for various RFPs
- For customer projects and team meetings, you are on-site in Bern at least twice a week

Your profile
You are an experienced IT project manager with a technical background who takes responsibility and confidently operates at the interface between customers, technical teams, and business requirements. You see yourself as the driver of your projects – both technically and on process and management levels.
What you bring:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Mandatory: You have actively worked in the workplace, cloud, and/or modern workplace environment over the past four years, bringing current and practical experience as well as the necessary technical understanding
- You have solid experience in IT project management and are accustomed to successfully managing multiple projects in parallel
- You have experience collaborating between customers, development, and operations and know how to align different stakeholders towards common goals
- You are familiar with modern IT and cloud environments, such as Modern Workplace/M365, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, VMware/Hyper-V, container platforms, networks, and software-defined infrastructure. Knowledge of ITIL and tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform is an advantage
- Swiss German at native level as well as very good English skills
We do not expect you to be hands-on with all the mentioned technologies today. What matters is your technical foundation and current understanding of cloud and workplace environments so that you can competently manage demanding projects.
