At PostFinance, we operate and further develop our requirements management platform Polarion ALM while simultaneously shaping the establishment of a modern specification-as-code approach. We are a team in development and are looking for you as a Senior DevOps Software & Specification Engineer. You are technically proficient, an experienced developer with a DevOps mindset, who enjoys building toolchains and standards, sustainably managing requirements as code, and supporting the user teams in the transition to a modern way of working. This enables the user teams to promote their T-shaping, manage their artefacts as code, and increase AI readiness. In doing so, we create the foundation for seamless traceability from the requirement through implementation to productive use and make a significant contribution to accelerating software development at PostFinance.

What you can achieve

• You take responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and further development of our requirements management platforms
• You operate our established requirements management tool Polarion and actively shape its continuous development into a modern, future-oriented solution
• You design the build and implementation of a modern requirements-as-code solution with a spec-driven development approach
• You develop and operate solutions, integrations, and various automations consistently along the toolchain of the software delivery lifecycle
• You implement CI/CD pipelines as well as AI-supported tools for development, analysis, testing, and documentation
• You work closely with developers, business analysts, testers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders from around 100 delivery teams at PostFinance

What you bring with you

• Higher education or further training in computer science (HF, FH, University/ETH) or comparable practical experience, with good German and English skills
• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, or in a comparable technical role
• Experience in operating and further developing business-critical applications and platforms
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Angular, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with established enterprise landscapes, ideally with Polarion ALM, Groovy, or comparable technologies
• High quality awareness, strong problem-solving skills, and interest in modern engineering practices, AI tools, and specs-as-code

For this position, the annual salary for a 100% workload ranges between CHF 110,000 and 130,000. The exact salary depends on your profile and experience and may be slightly below or above this range depending on the specifics.
