As the RTE of our train, you skillfully navigate to ensure the coordination of processes between self-organized IT teams, stakeholders, and business owners, driving our agile delivery organization to peak performance.

As an RTE, after 25 PI plannings, you take over a well-functioning agile Release Train (ART) and drive it to new heights.
Your area of responsibility essentially includes:
- Managing and aligning our ICT ART with 13 self-organized IT teams in close collaboration with ICT key role holders, stakeholders, and business owners.
- Optimizing the flow in the ART to ensure holistic, focused delivery and increase maturity.
- Ensuring targeted quarterly planning and a focused process in the PI plannings.
- Leading the central ART ceremonies such as PI Planning, plannings, reviews, retrospectives, and Inspect & Adapt.
- Implementing and ensuring quality management through Built-In Quality principles and supporting the Communities of Practice (CoPs).
- Pragmatic mediation, implementation, and continuous improvement of our agile principles and practices to promote a unified understanding and support our learning organization.
With your commitment and experience, together with our key role holders, the agile ICT teams, technical and subject matter experts, and business owners, you significantly contribute to developing customer-oriented solutions at ZHAW and realizing strategic initiatives.

To successfully take on this exciting challenge, you need:
- Conviction, willingness, and joy in continuously developing yourself, your colleagues, and the entire organization.
- A completed higher education in computer science.
- Several years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or Delivery Lead with solid knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, DevOps, Lean).
- Experience with core system integrations, DevOps methods, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes) is an advantage.
- Experience with various service models, service management, and supplier management is helpful.
- Knowledge of the education sector or university environment or willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with this subject matter.
- Enjoyment in collaborative partnership with different role holders and the forward-looking development of our learning organizations.
- Holistic-strategic thinking, structured and methodical working style, and a high degree of initiative.
- Confident communication and moderation skills as well as the ability to convey complex technical concepts understandably.
- Strong persuasive skills and the ability to involve and coordinate various stakeholders purposefully.
- Fluent German skills, both spoken and written.
