About the job

• Supervision and support of students and staff in projects and internships
• Support of the workshop operations in the Technology Park Biel as well as execution of general carpentry work
• Carrying out practical work within the framework of research projects and services
• Conducting machine and workshop introductions for students and staff
• Co-designing the new workshops on the Biel campus

• Completed vocational training as a carpenter*in or comparable qualification
• Enjoyment in working with different people as well as a service-oriented working style
• Interest in working with various machines and equipment as well as modern manufacturing methods (CAD, CNC, etc.)
• Communication at a very high level in German; knowledge of French and English is an advantage
