Mission Description:

Do you wish to practise community social work focused on the needs of the individual, by creating tailored responses in collaboration with the Geneva social network? Join a team of 7 people within a diverse and dynamic municipality committed to social cohesion, inclusion, and solidarity.

Activities:

• Under the direction of the Head of the Social Cohesion Service and the Delegate for Social Action, you will propose individual or collective actions for residents facing social, economic, or personal difficulties,
• You will inform and guide them towards appropriate structures for personalised support
• You will offer them targeted financial or non-financial benefits aimed at alleviating their difficulties
• You will develop close collaboration with various internal and external partners

Profile sought:

• Your HES bachelor’s degree in social work with a social service orientation (or equivalent qualification) and experience within a social service will enable you to propose individual actions for residents in vulnerable or precarious situations
• Thanks to your good knowledge of the Geneva social network and social insurance, you will be able to guide and inform beneficiaries about the appropriate schemes
• You demonstrate listening skills, empathy, and respect towards others.
• You possess good analytical and synthesis skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
