Automation Engineer (m/f/d) OT/ Cybersecurity

In a young, communicative environment with flat hierarchies, you can unleash and further develop your talents. As an Automation Engineer OT/Cybersecurity (m/f/d), you will shape our innovative team. Your specialization: Integration of fundamental OT technologies and platforms to create a solid foundation for future digitization applications in our product, taking into account a sound cybersecurity strategy. This includes networking machines, devices, and systems as well as implementing data collection and processing to optimize our plants.

Your core tasks at a glance:

• Development and implementation of OT solutions: Design, integration, and optimization of OT platforms and systems for networking and digitizing industrial processes
• Interface development: Conceptualization and realization of interfaces between machines, devices, and IT systems to ensure seamless communication and data exchange
• Implementation of monitoring tools for analyzing system performance and continuous improvement of products
• Software implementation for customized solutions including plant documentation
• Participation in development projects of automation solutions
• Commissioning on-site for complex plants and requirements

• A completed degree FH or HF in electrical engineering, systems or automation technology, or an equivalent education or training
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) and communication protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, etc.)
• Knowledge in data analysis and visualization (e.g., with tools like Python, Influx)
• Knowledge in IT and network technologies: Understanding of IT infrastructures, networks, and cybersecurity aspects in the industrial environment
• Knowledge in control software such as Codesys and TIA Portal
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written (B2)
