Your tasks

• Personnel management of the financial accounting team as well as promotion and development of employees
• Overall responsibility for financial accounting including general ledger, subsidiary ledgers (debtors, creditors, assets, inventory) and participations with three clients
• Responsibility for consistent segment separation in the main client
• Independent preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP FER (individual and consolidated accounts) including reporting
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and tax requirements, as well as updating the financial manual
• Responsibility for the internal control system (ICS) and compliance with compliance requirements
• Responsibility for liquidity management, payment transactions, invoicing, dunning and debt collection
• Planning, support and financial assessment of investments and cost-effectiveness calculations
• Further development of finance through optimisation, standardisation and digitalisation of processes with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365
• Support of the CFO in finance-related matters
• Close collaboration with the Head of Controlling as a sparring partner
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, authorities, financial institutions and other internal and external stakeholders
• Project responsibility for financial projects such as VAT rate changes or introduction of new products in the market economy area
• Participation in cross-departmental projects

Your profile

• Higher education in finance and accounting (FH, HF or comparable further education) with at least a professional certificate level qualification
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in finance and accounting
• Strong expertise in financial statements and balance sheets as well as sound knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP FER
• Good knowledge of VAT and relevant legal regulations
• Experience in building and further developing processes and internal control systems
• High IT affinity as well as good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office products; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Exsion is an advantage
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative and networked action
• High integrity, sense of responsibility and reliability
