Account Payable Accountant (Geneva - Switzerland)
The FIA is looking for a proactive and organised Accounts Payable Accountant to join its Performance team. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a dynamic and international environment. You will play a key role in supporting the daily management of financial operations — from processing invoices and handling vendor queries, to participating in monthly closings and department-wide improvement projects.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of employees Travel Expenses
- Book Purchase Orders and Non-Purchase Orders invoices
- Follow up on Purchase orders issues
- Review and validation of Purchase requests
- Handle vendors and internal stakeholders’ queries through different mailboxes
- Participation in annual closing activities
- Recording closing entries
- Participation in various department projects in line with the objectives of improving the productivity and efficiency of accounting process
PROFILE:
- Degree in accounting
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable is mandatory
- English and French proficiency (min C1)
- Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Confidentiality, thoroughness
- Proficiency in ERP system (ideally Sage X3)
- Proficiency on Microsoft pack
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
