A Workshop Manager - Carpentry at 100%

to strengthen the team of the Road Section of the Operations Service.

Your mission:

You are responsible for carrying out carpentry work necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of the municipal heritage. In this capacity, you ensure the repair and maintenance of street furniture, equipment, infrastructure, and municipal buildings. You also manage the carpentry workshop and ensure its smooth operation: maintenance of premises, machines and equipment, supply of materials and consumables, as well as participation in proposals for the acquisition of equipment and machinery. Depending on the workshop’s capabilities, you also participate in the manufacture, adaptation, and installation of new carpentry elements. Furthermore, you collaborate with the Road team and may be required, depending on service needs, to participate in public domain maintenance, waste collection, or the installation of equipment during municipal events. You also contribute to winter road maintenance and may occasionally cover shifts, notably at weekends.

Your profile:

Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in carpentry or an equivalent qualification, you have over 5 years of proven experience in a similar role. You master carpentry techniques and are comfortable with the use, maintenance, and servicing of workshop machines and equipment. Autonomous, organised, and proactive, you can assess the work to be done and propose appropriate solutions. You are capable of working independently while appreciating teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders. Physically robust and in good condition, you are able to undertake varied activities both in the workshop and outdoors. Punctual and conscientious, you value the quality of work performed and the maintenance of the equipment entrusted to you. You also accept occasional irregular working hours, particularly in the context of winter road maintenance or certain municipal events. Does this profile suit you?
