Head of Product Safety & Compliance 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for you as a strategic mind and driver for product safety on an international level. You lead a specialised team and ensure that all products worldwide comply with all compliance requirements.

Your tasks include:

• Developing future-oriented strategies for the assessment and classification of mixtures according to international regulations

• Ensuring global chemical compliance and monitoring relevant legislation

• Responsibility for safety data sheets according to worldwide standards as well as maintenance of IT systems

• Toxicological, ecological and legal evaluation of raw materials and products

• Coordination of substance registrations in close cooperation with internal and external partners

• Central contact person for customers, company doctors and authorities on all safety-related matters

• Design of labels, technical data sheets and product information with correct safety information

• Active monitoring of the development of relevant laws and standards

• Representation of the company in relevant expert committees

What do I need to be successful?

You have a degree in chemistry and are confident in the areas of HSE, GHS and international chemical legislation.

In addition, you convince with:

• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and advance teams

• Talent for communicating complex regulatory topics clearly and understandably
