Role:
As the pivotal point in product development, you will design the next generation of high-power converters. You will combine advanced mechanics with modern thermal management to bring innovative systems to market maturity.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the thermomechanical development of highly innovative power converters from the initial sketch to final series maturity.
Design mechanical and thermal system architectures and industrialise them in close coordination with the electronics development team.
Lead technical design reviews and conduct targeted specialist workshops directly with strategic key customers.
Define qualification processes and ensure smooth product transfer to manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Successful engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or a related discipline with a focus on thermodynamics, materials science, or fluid mechanics.
Solid professional experience in the design of power electronic devices, ideally in the area of high power densities and complex liquid cooling systems.
Practical knowledge in thermal simulations (e.g. CFD) to eliminate thermal bottlenecks early in the concept phase.
Independent and interdisciplinary working style combined with high self-motivation, team spirit, and a pronounced can-do attitude for genuine innovation.
Fluent English skills and good communication skills in German for smooth exchange in an international project environment.
