To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Department: Medical Application Services immediately or by arrangement
Your Tasks
- Leadership and further development of the Medical Application Services department with around 10 employees
- Ensuring stable operation, support, and release management of KIS, PIS, RIS/PACS, and laboratory solutions
- Responsibility for service quality, prioritisation, roadmaps, architecture, suppliers, budget, and service portfolio
- Further development of service ownership, standards, and processes with a focus on service excellence
- Proactive professional advice to healthcare customers including commercial co-responsibility
- Close collaboration with APV, Service Desk, projects, suppliers, partners, and management
- Promotion of personal responsibility, customer focus, and reliability
Your Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in an application, service, or healthcare IT environment
- Experience in healthcare, ideally with an IT service provider, hospital, or clinic
- Sound understanding of medical applications and clinical processes
- Experience with IT service management, support, operations, release management, and ITIL
- Good understanding of process management, standardisation, data protection, and regulatory requirements
- Entrepreneurial, reliable, and assertive personality with a strong customer orientation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; very good German skills, French an advantage
