Head of Goods Outbound
Tasks
- You lead the goods outbound department in a two-shift operation and are also responsible for deployment planning in compliance with legal requirements
- You monitor the smooth process flow in your area of responsibility and optimise existing procedures
- You share responsibility for compliance with operational regulations as well as safety and accident prevention rules
- You conduct periodic meetings with your directly reporting management staff
- You are responsible for the professional development of your employees
- You participate in regional logistics projects
Requirements
- Logistics specialist with a federal diploma and several years of logistics and leadership experience
- Confident handling of MS Office products as well as knowledge of SAP or WAMAS systems
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Leader with high social competence who exemplifies leadership of employees at eye level
- Work deployment mainly takes place during daytime processes
