Portrait of the School/Institution
The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the centre of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important transport axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 pupils attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular lessons, the school also organises speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
You support a child with special needs, especially when arriving and separating from their key persons. You provide security, accompany transitions, and help build trust and independence in everyday kindergarten life. In doing so, you work closely with the kindergarten teacher and follow their guidelines. In addition, you support the class system as a whole with your work.
Working hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri mornings 08:20 - 11:50 and possibly Tue afternoon 13:30 - 15:15
Requirements
- Enjoyment in working with children of kindergarten age
- Reliable, responsible and patient personality
- Ability to attentively and safely accompany children on their way to school
- Friendly demeanour as well as good communication and teamwork skills
- Independent and flexible working style
- Pedagogical prior knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory
