Job description
Your activities cover three hospital sites as well as several consultation centres scattered throughout the city of Geneva.
You independently carry out all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as well as installation work requested by your hierarchy.
You ensure the monitoring and supervision of construction sites and works, ensuring compliance with deadlines, standards and current directives.
You regularly report on your interventions to your hierarchy and report any malfunctions, damage or technical anomalies observed.
You ensure the updating of technical documentation as well as the maintenance and cleaning of tools, premises and equipment made available to you.
As needed, you also supervise maintenance work and repairs related to your sector of activity. As a contact person, you coordinate, control and accompany external companies mandated.
You participate in stock management as well as in the preparation of material requests.
Curious and motivated by the evolution of techniques and technologies in your field, you also enjoy sharing your know-how and collaborating with your colleagues.
Sensitive to environmental issues and energy savings, you integrate these concerns into all your activities.
You work regular hours and participate, according to a planned rota, in the on-call service for your sector. In case of emergency, you are also willing to intervene outside usual hours, including at night, on weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
You hold an ES technician diploma in the relevant field or an equivalent qualification, complemented by at least 5 years of professional experience in the maintenance and repair of HVAC installations.
You have solid knowledge of various couplings and hydraulic circuits as well as in the field of regulation.
You master Johnson Controls and Sauter Building Control regulation and supervision systems (user level).
You have very good knowledge of industrial thermal installations, particularly in superheated water and steam, and are aware of the risks related to their operation.
You hold the ASIT boiler operator certificate or are willing to undertake this training to obtain certification within two years.
General knowledge of building trades (carpentry, locksmithing, etc.) is an asset to ensure technical on-call services independently.
You live less than 35 minutes from your workplace and necessarily hold a category B driving licence.
An electrical connection authorisation (NIBT) allowing intervention on equipment with electrical connection would be an advantage.
You are proficient with common office tools, especially Microsoft Office, as well as the use of CMMS software.
With an excellent sense of service, you enjoy teamwork and demonstrate openness to change, allowing you to integrate quickly and evolve comfortably in your professional environment.
You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written, and express yourself clearly and concisely.
If necessary, you may be required to intervene on all HUG sites to carry out specific missions.
