The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is a globally renowned institute in the field of global health with a special focus on low- and middle-income countries. Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, teaching and services at local, national and international levels. Around 1,000 people from 96 countries work at Swiss TPH in areas such as infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health, as well as health systems and programmes.
The Department of Education is responsible for coordinating the courses and programmes at Swiss TPH as well as at the University of Basel and is looking for an assistant to the Head of Department Education to start immediately or by arrangement. Since you will be "in the thick of it" with us, you should not be easily unsettled and bring a healthy sense of humour.
Assistant to the Head of Department Education (50%)
As assistant to the Head of Department Education, you will support the department in all administrative matters. In your role as a central hub, you will coordinate various interfaces with internal and external stakeholders and contribute significantly to a smooth process. Thanks to your strong organisational talent, you keep an overview even in demanding situations and impress with your flexibility.
