Our specialised school welcomes 90 pupils aged 4 to 18 years.
As part of the opening of a new class, we are looking for an educator ready to form a partnership with the teacher and to take part in this new project from the outset.

Your role

• Participate in setting up the new class, hand in hand with the teacher
• Support pupils daily in the classroom, individually and in groups
• Work closely with the teacher on the school curriculum and each pupil’s objectives
• Ensure the administrative follow-up related to your support

What you bring

• A diploma as a social educator (ES or HES) or equivalent training
• Solid experience with children with autism spectrum disorder
• Good knowledge of approaches and support tools specific to autism (environment structuring, alternative and augmentative communication, etc.)
• Ideally, experience with children with intellectual developmental disorders
• Excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism, autonomy and a good dose of patience
• Availability from Monday to Friday, an essential condition to ensure daily presence with the pupils

In brief
Rate: 70%, necessarily spread over the five days of the week (Monday to Friday). This distribution is a condition of the position and is non-negotiable.
