Strategic Purchasing 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You manage a broad supplier portfolio in the field of industrial products and are responsible for a stable, efficient supply

• You design and further develop procurement strategies with a clear focus on cost efficiency and long-term value creation

• You keep an eye on procurement markets and relevant price developments and derive concrete recommendations for action

• You independently negotiate contracts and conditions with suppliers and maintain reliable business relationships on an equal footing

• You work closely with various departments and specifically contribute your purchasing expertise to cross-departmental projects

• You regularly travel to suppliers and partner companies - mainly within Europe - to deepen relationships and unlock potential on site

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial or technical training, supplemented by specialist further training in purchasing or a comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in operational and strategic purchasing, ideally with an international focus

• Negotiation skills in German and English at a high level

• Confident handling of complex supply chains as well as a pronounced sense of risks and opportunities in global procurement markets

• Structured, solution-oriented working style with strengths in project coordination and cross-departmental collaboration

• Openness to digital tools and processes as well as the ability to keep an overview even in a dynamic environment
