Job description
Located in Grand-Saconnex, the EMS "Les Pins" is a long-term medical-social facility with 60 beds, intended for dependent elderly people. It is a living place offering a modern reception structure, with single rooms, in a warm and secure environment, perfectly adapted to the needs of our seniors who also benefit from a programme of individual and collective activities throughout the year.
Your main tasks:
- Define strategies and establish care plans;
- Provide personalised nursing care;
- Ensure follow-up of medical visits;
- Keep computerised care records rigorously;
- Support and guide the nursing assistant team in carrying out their tasks (must ensure follow-up and control of delegated acts);
- Participate in the development of numerous interdisciplinary projects: palliative care, individualised support projects, targeted handovers…
- Contribute to the implementation of care protocols and apply them;
- Attend training related to best practices to ensure continuous development of professional skills.
Profile sought
- Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing or equivalent;
- CAS in psychogeriatrics is a real asset;
- Successful experience of 3 to 6 years in geriatrics and/or psychogeriatrics;
- Kind and respectful, you have a genuine interest in working with elderly people;
- Responsible, organised and autonomous, you are a true driving force for the institution;
- You have a sense of teamwork;
- You have a developed sense of reflection and a critical mind that allows you to have a global vision of resident care;
- Great flexibility and availability for this position is imperative;
- Native French speaker;
- Good command of IT tools (ideally the DIR of Sadies), knowledge of targeted handovers.

- Activity rate: 80% – salary class: 15
- Continuous hours 8am-12pm and weekends
