Your Tasks
Representation and Care: On behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority, you support, care for and represent people as a professional guardian in the exercise of their legal, financial, social and personal matters.
Situation Analysis and Solution Finding: You analyse problems, structure information and obtain the necessary documents. On this basis, you develop solution approaches and implementation plans in cooperation with the affected persons, which you consistently accompany.
Mandate Management: You manage social work mandates and work interdisciplinarily with other authorities and institutions. You prepare reports and applications for the CAPA.
Your Profile
Experience: Ideally, you have professional experience in the field of adult protection or in statutory social work. You also have knowledge of social assistance and social insurance law.
Personality: You work independently and are resilient. You have a commercial flair and a structured way of working. You have an appreciative attitude towards people in need of protection and possess high social competence.
Education: You have a tertiary education at university level (at least a Bachelor’s degree), preferably in Social Work FH, Psychology or another comparable qualification in a similar client-care related field.

The Office for Guardianships and Adult Protection (ABES) belongs to the Department of Economy, Social Affairs and Environment. It manages guardianships on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (CAPA) for people who need support in their daily lives and in handling their financial or legal affairs.
