About the job

You will work in a modern psychiatric institution in the Appenzellerland region – an area that, as an interface between Germany and Switzerland, combines many things that German doctors love about Switzerland: clear structures, short distances, high safety and an impressive natural backdrop.
The location is nestled between Lake Constance, Alpstein and the Rhine – a region that often conveys a familiar sense of home to Germans. The proximity to St. Gallen, a city with a vibrant cultural scene and the famous Abbey Library (UNESCO World Heritage Site), provides urban connection. At the same time, you can reach forests, hiking trails, skiing and mountain areas within minutes – an ideal place for doctors who want to quickly relax after work.
The population is open, down-to-earth and German-speaking. Geographically, the region is particularly attractive for cross-border commuters or doctors from southern Germany: Lake Constance, the Rhine and well-known cities such as Constance, Friedrichshafen or Lindau are only a short drive away.
