As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that lasts: the infrastructure for future generations.

Your tasks:
- In your role, you have overall professional responsibility for controlling and further developing facility management in the Freiburg and Haltingen workshops and drive the digitalisation of processes forward
- This includes the professional leadership of the assigned facility managers and building technicians
- You ensure high availability of the facilities and create good conditions for our vehicle maintenance through a powerful infrastructure
- You participate in the implementation and commissioning of infrastructure projects and represent our interests
- You understand technical and rail-specific contexts, assess relevant regulations and standards, and derive the necessary testing, verification, and operator obligations including required measures
- You take over monitoring the planned budget and ensuring the economic operation of the infrastructure
- You assume roles from the operator responsibility, including the nVEFK for the Freiburg and Haltingen sites
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, you have a qualification as a technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering
- You bring at least three years of professional experience in infrastructure and facility management
- Experience in the technical rail sector is desirable
- You have an interest in digitalisation, simple processes, and data-based control formats, e.g. MS PowerBI or MS PowerAutomate
- You work analytically and structured and keep an overview both in strategic projects and in emergencies
- With strong communication skills, confident coordination ability, and a poised manner, you bring together different interests, combine assertiveness with diplomatic sensitivity, and win participants for joint, sustainable solutions
