Introduction

The Adliswil school educates around 2000 children and young people in kindergarten, primary, and secondary levels. Over 500 staff members are committed to this responsible task across 7 schools and various specialised services.

At the Werd school, nearly 280 pupils are cared for and taught by over 60 staff members. We operate 4 kindergartens, 9 two-year classes, and an intake class. Werd school is a familiar, lively, and diverse QUIMS school with a very dedicated teaching team.

Due to the gradual retirement of a headteacher, we are seeking reinforcement. The entry position is approximately 30% workload, which will be gradually increased over the coming years and will ultimately be around 80%.

Headship approx. 30% from 1 August 2027

The working days are not yet defined and will be set by agreement.

What we expect from you

• Teaching experience at kindergarten or primary level

• Headship diploma or willingness to train for it

• Communicative, appreciative personality with a clear leadership style

• Resilience, flexibility, assertiveness, and a sense for the staff

• Solution-oriented attitude and composure even when dealing with challenging situations

• Affinity for organisational and administrative tasks combined with high self-organisation

The focus of your work is planned in the following areas: budget responsibility and corresponding financial processes, personnel management, special education processes at headship level, and shaping school development.
